Friday we went to the doctor for our checkup. I am now 27 weeks along and getting bigger every day! I am not really cool with getting fatter and fatter for the next few months, but I am really excited to be having a baby.
Adelaide weighed in at 2 pounds. Right where she should be and the doc said she looks like she is in the 50th percentile. It doesn’t surprise me since Aaron is really tall and I’m really short. She will probably be right in the middle of us.
This weekend we went to my parent’s cabin in Oak City for the Lovell family reunion. The original Joe Dirt was there…hair to his waist, broncos baseball cap, cut off t-shirt underneath his broncos sweatshirt, mustouche and all. Aaron could help but call him “joe dirt.” It was quite entertaining.
Saturday my grandparents came over for a Father’s day dinner at the cabin. They have only been down to the cabin one other time since my parent’s bought it 5 years ago and they have completely remoldeled it since. Mom had been up til 2am the night before so she didn’t know how to quite keep her cool when we had other unexpected visitors and she didn’t have enough food for everyone. It was ok though. Everything turned out all right and the food was great!
I better get back to work. I’ll post some pictures when I get a chance. By the way, we ‘ve decided to stay put for a little while so we are not moving just yet. We’ll see how things go after the baby is born. My work just had me go full time until I leave for the baby, so that should help.
