Closing January 9, 2008

We closed on our new house today! I am so excited. It is in West Layton, by the syracuse border, and five houses down from Aaron’s brother Bryan and his wife Tiffany and their 3 kids, Peri, Korbin and Mason. Mason is only 3 months older than Addie, so hopefully he doesn’t pick on her too much at school:)
Anyway, here are a few pictures we have taken. As you know, we can’t stand to just move into a house the way it is, so yes, we are going to paint before taking over the place. This is what it looks like now.

Isn’t the front cute? It is fully landscaped too–A BIG plus! Auto sprinklers, curbing, fruit trees and all!

I am probably most excited about the kitchen/great room area. I have always wanted an island in the kitchen.

This is the master-it has a bay window which I am also excited about. That’s Ron, our realtor/brother-in-law in the photo. I guess he didn’t know this was going to be his modeling debut .

Ok. I lied. I will post a little one of Addie. I am terribly absorbed with my child, but I can’t help but love her and think she is beautiful, even if she does sound like a raptor when she screams. She is still a doll and is really getting fun now that she plays more.

Apartment life January 4, 2008

So we sold our cute house in Layton and picked up an apartment in Syracuse for the time being. I thought you all might enjoy some pictures of our beautiful little place.

Don’t you love the beautiful curtains? We It is quite spacious as well, no cramming involved.

Don’t worry, the washer and dryer are next to the microwave, providing ample counter space.

Not that we have alot of pretty furniture anyway, but I think it is definitely complimented by the room here.

I hope you have enjoyed the tour of our lovely apartment. Stay tuned for the pictures of our new house that we will be moving into next month. We are closing on the 9th (Next Wednesday). It will be so hard to leave this lovely place, but I think we will manage. Sniff, wipe tear.
